Mrs. Albert Roos of Orange City passed away at the hospital Sept. 15 following an extended illness.
The Rev. Edward Blankespoor was in charge of funeral services held at 1:30 p. m. on Sept. 17 at Calvary Christian Reformed church, with burial at West Lawn cemetery in charge of Van Etten Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roos, nee Alice Langhout was born in Cincinnati, Ohio,
Jan. 21, 1891, and was married Feb. 21, 1911, since which time she was a resident of Orange City.
Besides the widower, survivors are four sons, John and Allen, both of Orange City, Wilbur of Bethesda, Md., and Wayne of of Tigard, Ore., four daughters the Misses Emma and Kathrine, both of Long Beach, Calif., Alta, Mrs. L.M. Davis of Falls Church Va. and Alberta, Mrs. C.J. Dorhout of Lake Worth, Fla.
She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Walter Troth of Long Beach, Calif., 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
