Addie Pearl Rogers Beverly, 94, of Jesup, GA, died Monday, July 26, 2010, surrounded by her family, after an extended illness. The Dodge Co., GA, native and former resident of Brunswick, GA, had lived in Wayne Co., GA, most of her life. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA, was a homemaker, the widow of Calvin Gurtis Beverly, predeceased by 2 sons: James Calvin Beverly & Grady Beverly, & by a grandson: Gurtis Beverly.
Survivors are 2 daughters: Molly B. Buchans of Savannah, GA, Melba Jean Anderson of Brunswick, GA, a son & daughter-in-law: Charles (Janet) Beverly of Jesup, GA, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 A. M. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, from the Rinehart & Sons Chapel with Rev. William Edwards officiating. Interment will be in the Red Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons: Johnny Googe, Calvin Googe, Jeff Emory, J. H. Buchans, III, Gary Beverly, & Charlie Beverly. Honorary pallbearers will be: Hospice of South Georgia Employees.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 A. M. Wednesday from the funeral home prior to services.
