Mrs. Louise Goolsby Rodgers, 72, of 112 Westmoreland Drive, widow of Mr. Joseph P. Rodgers, Sr., died unexpectedly early this morning at her residence.
Mrs. Rodgers was a retired employee of Dundee Mill No. Five. She was a member of East Griffin Baptist Church and was a native of Thomas County, GA.
Her survivors include two sons, J. P. Rodgers of Griffin and Edwin E. Rodgers, both of Griffin; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Lowery, Mrs. Evelyn Pressley of Texas and Mrs. Mary Castleberry of Griffin; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Goolsby of Houston, Tex.
The funeral will be Friday afternoon at o'clock in Haisten's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. J. M. Wiles and the Rev. Bobby Burnett will officiate. Burial will be in Griffin Memorial Park. The body will remain at the funeral home.
