Helen Irene Rockhold, 66, of Lineville, died Friday, Jan. 29, 1988 at the Princeton Care Center. Mrs. Rockhold was born May 6, 1921 in Humeston, Iowa, a daughter of Alphus Albert and Rosie May Kalkes Pool. On May 6, 1949 she was united in marriage to Garth Rockhold. She was a member of the Lineville Baptist Church, a former member of the Lineville City Council and former board member of the Lineville Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include her husband of the home in Lineville; one daughter, Rita Woodley, Runnells, Iowa; one sister, Wanda Blessing, Bondurant, Iowa; four brothers, Calvin Pool, Phoenix AZ, Carroll Dean Pool, Conway, Arkansas; Melvin Pool, Humeston; Raymond Pool, Garner, Iowa and one grandson, Tyler. Mrs. Rockhold was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. at the Greenlee Funeral Chapel in Lineville with the Rev. Max Carmichael officiating. Burials was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville.
