On Dec. 9, 1875, in Center Twp., St Joseph County, IN., as Lena Rock, married Alfred B. Frick, of South Bend, Indiana. (No church affiliation information at this time)

Like most people in the mid-1800's, the Frick's made their living as farmer's, they were one of the most enterprising, progressive and leading agriculturists in the St. Joseph River Valley of St Joseph County.

Through the marriage of Lena and Alfred, ten children were born, six sons and four daughters;

On Mar. 17, 1925, in South Bend, Lena passed away in her home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. She preceded Alfred in death, Alfred passed away, Mar. 4, 1928.

Both Lena and Alfred are buried in Bowman Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana.
