Wilma Aubrey, 92, formerly of Tulsa passed from this life on Saturday, January 2, 2010 in Paris, TX. She was born February 19, 1917 in Vinita, OK the daughter of Jess and Della Mae (Culler) Robinson.
Wilma married Paul Roscoe Aubrey August 24, 1935. Tulsa was her home until she moved to Paris, Texas four years ago. Wilma was a long time member of the Carbondale Assembly of God Church and was a Grand Organist and Worthy Matron of the Order of The Eastern Star. She also gave piano and organ lessons to many students through the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Roscoe Aubrey; her parents, Jess and Della Robinson; and a son, Paul Aubrey.
Her survivors include daughter, Carol Phillips and husband, Ron of Paris, TX; son, Rob Aubrey & wife, Sherrie of Athens, GA; daughter-in-law, Karen Aubrey of Dallas, TX; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be 8am – 8pm, Thursday and 8am – 8pm, Friday with the family receiving visitors from 6pm – 8pm on Friday.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Carbondale Assembly of God Church with Jack Spratt officiating. A private burial will take place in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
