Amelia Catharine Miller was born October 13, 1916 in Rosenheim, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Alexander and Agatha Miller. Mollie grew up and was schooled in Canada. In the 1930's she immigrated to the United States.

Mollie was baptized into the Catholic faith at St. Matthews Church in West St. Paul, MN in 1938.

On May 6, 1939 Mollie was united in marriage to Robert John Robinson, also at St. Matthews Church. The couple made their home in South St. Paul where they were blessed with two children, Robert and Kathy.

In the mid 1950's Mollie and Robert moved to the Alexandria, MN area. They bought Cottage Grove Resort on Lake Andrew, which they owned and operated for seventeen years. The couple retired after selling the resort in the early1970's and bought a home on Lake Andrew.

Mollie enjoyed traveling in the United States and Canada. Her and Robert spent many winters in McAllen, TX. Mollie also enjoyed cooking; she was especially good at cooking ducks with her homemade dressing.
