Evelyn Husek, 86 of Benton Harbor passed away Friday June 16, 2006 at Lakeland Hospital - St. Joseph

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home 2650 Niles Road St. Joseph. A celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at The First United Methodist Church St. Joseph with Rev. Wade Panse officiating; with burial to follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorial may be made to First United Methodist Church.

Evelyn was born on May 25, 1920 in Burlamont, Michigan, to Alfred & Linnie Robinson. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Hartford Michigan.
For many years she was worked at Inter City Bank as a bank teller and volunteer at Lakeland hospital. She was a member of the widow-widowers club and of The First United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener and a world traveler

She is survived by two sons Robert Husek of St. Joseph and William (Patricia) Husek of St. Joseph, four grandchildren Marni (Phillip) Crowder, Roberta "Bobbie" (Jim) Piesko, Brian (Marci) Husek, Jennifer Husek and five great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley "Red" Husek on December 27, 1990; a brother Gordon Robinson and a sister Janette Robinson Stowe.
