NORTH GROSVENORDALE -- Stella R. Robillard, 96, formerly of 500 Riverside Drive, died Sunday morning at Haven Health Center in Danielson. She was born in Lowell, MA on December 28, 1907, a daughter of the late Zenon and Rose Anna (Foucher) Robillard. Ms. Robillard worked for many years as a teacher at Saint Joseph School in North Grosvenordale. She had also previously been employed at F.W. Woolworth's in Putnam. A member of the Daughters of Isabella, Stella was a communicant of Saint Joseph Church, North Grosvenordale. She also en joyed traveling with the Royal Travelers. She leaves 2 nieces and their husbands; Theresa and John Pescosolid of Berlin, CT and FL and Jacqueline and Richard Lorman of FL, 1 nephew and his wife; Norman and Connie Chaput of North Grosvenordale as well as a niece through marriage, Grazietta Hebert of Farmington. She was predeceased by 1 brother; Hector Robillard and 2 sisters; Anita Chaput and Edna Hebert, as well as a nephew; Norman Hebert. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Saint Joseph Church, 18 Main Street, North Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
