Caryn Robertson Guest, 52, of Houston, was born January 9, 1960, in Pasadena, Texas, and entered the rest on September 24, 2012, in Houston.
Caryn was a 1978 graduate of La Porte and a 1982 Accounting graduate of Texas A&M.
She was a CPA and auditor with BDO Seidman and BankOne, prior to retiring.
However, her passion was her involvement with her children's activities, serving in a leadership capacity on numerous committees/organizations at Bunker Hill Elementary,
Memorial Middle School, Memorial High School, and UT-Dallas Baseball.
She was a dedicated and active member of Chapelwood UMC through VBS, Confirmation, Sunday School, and Family Life Council.
She is survived by her husband, L. Todd Guest; children, Kyle, Courtney, and Jason; parents, C.R. "Pete," Sr. and Ava Robertson; sisters, Deanna Biggers and husband Steve, Jan Teague and husband Stan, Kim Turner and husband Greg; brother, Pete Robertson, Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Norma Guest; brother-in-law, Dr. Gary Guest, and wife Debra; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2012, at Chapelwood UMC, Parlor, 11140 Greenbay, Houston, TX 77024, and the memorial service in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
Private interment will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Chapelwood Foundation, at the address above, or the American Cancer Society.
