Wallace Delton Roberts Sr. was born December 26, 1932 in Bomarton, TX, and passed away on January 19, 2002 in his home in San Antonio, TX.

He was a 1951 graduate of Harlandale High School.

He was involved in the restaurant business starting at a young age.

He was a member of the Highland Hills Masonic Lodge 1373.

In the last 26 years of his life, he owned and operated his own car dealership here in San Antonio.

Wallace enjoyed golfing and mostly loved his ranch in Hondo.

He is survived by his wife, Lola Jenkins Roberts; son, Wallace Delton Roberts, Jr., three daughters, Sylvia Roberts Moores, Sandra Roberts McCulloch, and Patricia Shannon; sister, Beatrice Roberts Thorton; brother-in-law, C.L. Thorton; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. He also leaves behind his most loving companion, his dog "Cajun".

We would like to offer our thanks and appreciation for the loving care and concern given to Mr. Roberts by Maria Briseno, who lived in his home to provide this care for him.

HE WAS THE MOST WONDERFUL HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDFATHER AND PERSON THERE COULD EVER POSSIBLY BE.

SERVICES
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 21, 2002 from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with Interment to follow in Mission Burial Park South.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
