Funeral services for Earnest Lee Roberts of Lufkin, who died Wednesday in a local nursing home, following an extended illness, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor J. D. Simmons and the Rev. L. R. Bullard will officiate, and burial will follow in the Mosiac Cemetery in San Augustine.
Mr. Roberts was born in San Augustine and had resided in Lufkin most of his life. He was a retired construction laborer, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church.
