In 1930 she and her parents and six siblings lived in a house they owned at 1034 Ridgelawn Avenue in Newark, OH. Their home was valued at $3000. They did not have a radio. Her father worked as a laborer at a stove factory.

In 1940 she and her husband lived with his parents and his brothers Wilfred and Carl in a house they owned next door to 228 South Granger Street in Granville, OH. Wilfred worked as an assistant veterinarian, with an income in 1939 of $572 for 52 weeks of work, and Carl as a filling station attendant, with an income in 1939 of $1040 for 52 weeks of work.

Nina May Rees, 88, of Lecanto, Fla., passed away Nov. 14 at Life Care Center in Lecanto, Fla.
Born June 4, 1924, in Newark, Ohio, to the late John A. and Mary (Livingston) Roberts, Nina moved to Citrus County 11 1/2 years ago from Houston, Texas. Nina was a member of the First Church of God in Inverness, Fla.
She is survived by her five children, William (Patricia) Rees of Ontario, Calif., Carl R. "Bob" (Beverly) Rees of Beverly Hills, Fla., David (Debbie) Rees of Houston, Texas, Charlotte (Ronald) Boyer of Beverly Hills, Fla., and Tammy (Howard) Kane of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Lucille Graham of Newark, Ohio, and Beverly Bradford of Eugene, Ore.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
