Aubrey Roberts Dies at Home Sunday Afternoon
Aubrey Roberts was born October 27, 1874 and died suddenly at his home east of Jacksonville Sunday afternoon at 1:15 at the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 26 days.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Nannie Roberts; five sons, Thomas of Moberly, Joseph of Sioux City, Iowa, Leroy of Jacksonville, Eugene, who is serving with the Armed Forces overseas, and Vincent of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Snodgrass of Sloan, Iowa, Mrs. Lula Copenhaver of Peoria, Illinois, Mrs. Dorothy Parkey of Moberly, and Mrs. Juanita Zuccarini of Bevier; one sister, Mrs. Ben Hughes, of Bevier; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Albert Skinner Home for Funerals, conducted by Father Gilfillan. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
The body will remain at the home est of Jacksonville until the funeral hour.
