Ms. Connor was a native of Randolph County. She retired from J.P. Stevens and also worked with Nantucket Hosiery in Randleman. In addition to her parents Ann is preceded in death by her husband, George Glenn Connor.
She is survived by daughters: Linda C. Parrish and husband Raymond of Asheboro, Betty Taylor Brower and her husband David of Ramseur; sons: David Lee Connor and wife Cindy of Greensboro, George G. Connor, II and wife Kay of Randleman: 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM following the visitation in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Pheagin officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.
