Herman Glen Robb, 92, of rural Huntingdon, Walker Township, died Sunday, November 8, 1998 at University Park Nursing Center in State College.


He was born March 1, 1906, in Huntingdon, a son of the late Martin Ray and Elizabeth Lorenze Robb. On August 22, 1939, in Kistler, he married Sylvia Grace Stapleton, who survived at home.


He attended Huntingdon public schools.


He was a school bus driver in Walker Township and previously was with the Pennsylvania departments of transportation and agriculture, retiring in 1968.


He was a Protestant and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Donna L. Doerr of State College; a son, Larry Glen Robb of Poway, Calif.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


A stepdaughter, Helen Morningstar, preceded him in death. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.


Visitation will be after 7 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at John B. Brown Funeral Home, 417 Washington St., Huntingdon.


The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Blair assisted by Mr. Mahlon Smith officiating.


Burial will be in Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Walker Township.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hesston Community Chapel, Hesston, Pa. 16647.
