Born October 27, 1934 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Herman Robert E. Lee Roane and Frances Strange Roane.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by her husband James Curtiss Greene, Sr.
Mrs Greene was a member of the Randolph Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter Renee Thompson and husband, Kenneth of Staunton, VA; two sons, James Curtiss Green, Jr. and wife, Mary Lou of Owensboro, KY and Christopher Greene and wife, Angelina of Fredericksburg, VA; two brothers, Jerry Roane of Lexington and Leon Roane of Colorado Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Bollinger officiating.
