Margaret Mary Lankston, 91, Maple Grove, Minn., former Floral City resident, passed away Feb. 19, 2014, in Brooklyn Park, Minn. Mrs. Lankston was born in Baltimore, Md., on Jan. 17, 1923, to the late James and Marie (Ward) Roach and moved to Florida in 1984 from Indianapolis, Ind. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and the wife of the late Robert Lankston, who predeceased her in 1995 following 49 years of marriage.
She is survived by four children, Robert W. Jr. of Missoula, Mont.; Thomas J. of South Bend, Ind.; Kathryn Dotterwich, St. Louis, Mo.; Sheila Kearney, Maple Grove, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with burial following in Florida National Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet with the family at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart for the church at 9:45 a.m. - Chronicleonline.com
