Frank attended Hoover Junior High and graduated from San Jose High School. He served in WWII and in 2000 was inducted into the Santa Clara County Softball Hall of Fame.
Survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Josephine; sons, Frank W. Rivera (Zenaida) and James Rivera (Doris); 4 grandchildren; sister, Socorro Cooney; brother, Joseph Rivera and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:30 pm – 8 pm, Sunday, March 9, 2014 with a Rosary beginning at 6 pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Funeral Service at 1 pm, Monday, March 10, 2014 at Lima Family Santa Clara Chapel. Committal Service to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
