From Der Nord Westen, 20 Aug. 1908:
As Mrs. Wilhelmine Braun, who lives with her son Frank Braun in Town
Newton, was feeding her chickens yesterday morning she sank to the
ground with a heart attack and died a few minutes later after she had
been carried into the house. Mrs. Braun, who was 76, gave no inkling
of an attack because she felt quite well up until it struck. She is
survived by two sons, the above referred to Frank, and also William
Braun living in California. Her husband preceded her in death 10 years
ago. Her funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from the local
German Methodist Church.
