Linda Kay Corwin, 68, of Lafayette, died at 11:02 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at her residence.
She was born in Thorntown to the late Abner and Charlotte Johnson Riley. On Nov. 15, 1986, she married Thomas E. Corwin Sr. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Teresa Dye Wilson (companion: Charlie Homan) of Otterbein and Beverly Dye Turner of Lafayette; two sons, Wayne Dye (wife: Kristy) of Lafayette and Tom Corwin Jr. (wife: Chris) of Oxford; two stepdaughters, Mary Sue Turner (husband: Bill) of Lafayette and Jan Ewalt (husband: Don) of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Rosemary Strong of Lebanon; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Darrell Shubrick.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Shubrick; a granddaughter, Kelsey Corwin; a sister, Beverly Stockton and 2 brothers, Abner Junior Riley and Russell Riley.
