Services for Allie Marie (Ricks) Boykin, 49, of Pittsburg, Texas and former resident of Athens, Texas are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburg. The Rev. Doyle Rust will officiate. Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens.

Mrs. Boykin died December 7, 1989 at Pittsburg Medical Center after a long illness.

She was a housewife and a member of the East Texas Writers Association.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Boykin, Pittsburg; son, Randy Boykin, Pittsburg; daughters, Rhonda Thompson, Jacksonville, AR, and Alechia Johnson, Shreveport, LA; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Ricks, Athens; three granddaughters; one grandson; brothers, Harvey Ricks, Athens, Bobby Ricks, Midlothian, Edwards Ricks, Ennis, Thomas Ricks, Mineola, and Donny Ricks, Tool; and a sister, Hazel Webb, Athens.
