Aurora Procarione Richens, age 91, died February 11, 1998 at her home in Price, Utah.
She was born January 14, 1907 in Helper, Utah to Giacomo and Marianna Tarro-Boiro Procarione. Married Reed Duke Richens on August 25, 1930 in Meeker, Colorado. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on July 27, 1947. He later died, September 12, 1979. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, where she was a visiting teacher coordinator for many years. Aurora was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and will be dearly missed by her family and a community of dear friends.
Survived by four sons, two daughters, and their spouses, Alfred and Clyta Richens, Price; Raymond and Patsy Richens, Price; Don and Marion Richens, Austin, TX; Kenneth and Donna Bell, Lehi; Janice R. Miller, American Fork; James P. and Dixie Richens, Taylorsville. Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents; and two brothers, Tony and Defandi Procarione.
Funeral service, Monday, February 16, 1998, 12 noon, Price Third LDS Ward Chapel. Family will be at the church Monday one hour prior to services, and at Mitchell Funeral Home Sunday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. Friends are welcome at Mitchell's Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Interment Price City Cemetery.
