Bernadine M. Richardville, 83, of Vincennes, passed away Tuesday morning at 12:25 AM at the New Willow Manor with her family at her bedside. She was born April 27, 1933 in Vincennes, IN the daughter of George and Sophie M. Hess Vieck. She graduated high school and on August 25, 1954 she married Jack W. Richardville and they made their life together until his death on March 2, 2001. She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church, the International Firefighters Assn. Aux. She was proud of her participation with the Pink Ladies of the Good Samaritan Hospital where she won the volunteer of the year for her efforts. She formerly worked as the activities director at the Lodge of the Wabash. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her children, Mike Richardville, and his wife Cindy of Sumner, IL, Debbie Freeman, and her husband Millard of Vincennes, Susan Stremming, and her husband Larry of Vincennes and Brenda DeLisle, and her husband Mark of Vincennes, IN. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mikie Richardville, triplets, Billy, Bobby and Mykayla Richardville, Kelly Moon, and her husband Chris and Jessica Stremming. Her sisters, Margaret Primus of Martinsburg, MO and Pauline Carie of Vincennes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her parents, brothers, Louis Vieck and Francis Vieck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Benny Checko officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home Thursday May 26, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Good Samaritan Hospital Pink Ladies.
