Winifred Louise Sweat Bolin, 86, of Darien Ga., passed away Sunday the 29th of June 2014 at Sears Manor in Brunswick, Ga. Born the 20th of June 1928 in Willacoochee, Ga., to the late John and Sally Rich. Mrs. Bolin is a lifelong native of Darien, Ga., She was employed by Bluestein Supermarket as a cashier, and a charter member of Christian Renewal Church and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Darien.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William M. Bolin, Sr.
Survivors include her children William M. Bolin, Jr. of Darien, GA; Anne Bolin Hornsby of Camden South Carolina, and Brenda Bolin Cowart of Hawthorne Fl.; step-son Wayne Hornbeck of Darien, GA; eight grandchildren David Hugo Hornsby of Colorado, Heather Hornsby McCarley of Camden S. C., Tim Howard (Laurie) of McIntosh, Patrick and Curtis Howard , Vernon Clouser all of Gainesville Fl and Elaine and David Hornbeck of Darien, GA; . four great- grandchildren Gregory Cooper McCarley and Joseph Hugo McCarley both of Camden S.C., Stephanie Manning and Stephen Hill both of Darien, Ga.; and her loving caregiver Sybil Johnson.
Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, the 2nd of July 2014, with family receiving friends from 10:30 a.m.- 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Cemetery with Rev. Randy Collins officiating. Interment will follow the service.
Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to be made to the charity of donor's choice.
