Jo Ellen Loutzenheiser

Jo Ellen Loutzenheiser, 55, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 24, 2014, at home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church of Sacaton. The celebration of life there will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Mrs. Loutzenheiser was born on Feb. 17, 1959, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Georgina and Dallas Rhodes Sr. She was a homemaker and liked to knit, crochet and sew. She also did beadwork and liked to cook and do crossword puzzles. She would watch any kind of movie and was very kind, gentle and loving. She loved to spend time with her family, including her extended family.

Survivors include her husband, Timothy; two daughters, Camaeo R. and Lois Loutzenheiser of Casa Grande; four sisters, Cecelia Henry of Casa Grande, Marjorie Lewis of Chandler, Cornelia Eschief of Blackwater and Georgene Jackson of Laveen; and four brothers, Daryl, Robert, Robin and Dwight Rhodes, all of Sacaton. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Alan Loutzenheiser; two brothers, Cecil and Dallas Rhodes Jr.; and three sisters, Margaret Armstrong, Della Walker and Wendelyn Rhodes.
