Thomas was the son of Samuel Beatty & Mary Hazlet. He married a second time, on April 21, 1927 in Erie, Pa., to Clara Eva Graham McMillin (FAG#154722589).

Mrs. T. J. Beatty died at 6 o'clock this morning in the Franklin hospital following an operation, which she underwent two weeks ago. Her maiden name was Miss Angeline Leah Rhoades, and she was born in 1878 in Franklin.
She was married to Thomas J. Beatty who survives, with a son, Leo, and the following brothers and sisters, George Rhoades of Franklin, Mrs. William Krepp of Coalingo, CA, and Mrs. A. H. McCurdy of Oil CIty.
She was beloved by all who knew her and was a valuable asset to the community wherein she resided. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and of the P. H. C.
Services will be at the home on Bell avenue at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with Dr. James Albert Patterson, assisted by Rev. T. W. Pearson, officiating.
