She was born Aug. 8, 1924, in Milton, a daughter of the late Willard Charles and Catherine Sarah (Manley) Swanger. On Aug. 22, 1942, she married Dale H. Reynolds who preceded her in death.
Helen attended Milton schools and was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Milton.
She is survived by one son, Robert Lee Reynolds, of Northport, Ala.; one brother, Willard C. Swanger, of Milton; three sisters, Shirley Sampsell and Claire R. Jolly, both of Williamsport, and Alice Redcay, of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Marie Holmes; and two brothers, Leo and Francis Swanger.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, 109 Broadway, Milton, with the Rev. John D. Hoke as celebrant.
Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, Milton.
