Mrs. Ed Claybrook Dies at Nevada, Mo.--Funeral Services Will Be Held Here Monday.
Mrs. Edward Claybrook, 78, who had made her home in Chillicothe for 42 years, died yesterday morning at City Hospital in Nevada, Mo. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon from theMeinershagen Funeral Home by the Rev. J. Frank Baker. Burial will be in Edgewood cemetery. Friends and neighbors knew Mrs. Claybrook as a lovely and gracious lady. She made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Charles Arthaud, 312 Jackson street. In addition to Mrs. Arthaud, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. S. Love of Nevada and Mrs. Paul Walters of Kansas City, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two sisters. Miss Madge J. Reese and Mrs. C. E. Hunter of Washington, D. C, and a brother. Roscoe C. Reese, Miami, Fl. A daughter, Mrs. A. F. Shea of Kansas City died in 1950, Mr. Claybrook passed away in 1934. Mrs. Claybrook was born near Bucklin, Mo., Nov. 19, 1873. She lived in Bucklin until she moved to Chillicothe in 1909.
