ILION — Mrs. Emma B. Cohoon, 86, 116 Central Ave., widow of Burton W. Cohoon, died yesterday in her home following a long illness.
She was born Nov. 5, 1867, in Herkimer daughter of Ephriam and Mary Jane Reese.
She was married in 1896. Mr. Cohoon died in 1933.
Mrs. Cohoon had been a resident of Ilion for 54 years and was a member of the First Methodist Church.
She leaves one daughter, Miss Evelyn Cohoon, Ilion; one son, Burton Webster Cohoon, Pomona, Calif. and one brother, Alonzo Reese of East Herkimer.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Herkimer Evening Telegram, Thursday, July 8, 1954
