MRS. ALLEN BUGBEE DIES

Mrs. Allen A. Bugbee, 516 South Union St., a lifetime resident of the Emporia area, died Wednesday afternoon in the Providence Hospital in Kansas City.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They will be conducted by the Rev. Stephen J. Williams, pastor of the First Congregational Church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Bugbee was the former Elizabeth Ann Rees, daughter of the late Jenkin and Ann Williams Rees. She was born Jan. 9th, 1888, in Emporia, and she was married on Jan. 5th, 1910, in Emporia. Mrs. Bugbee was a member of the Sardis Congregtional Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died Aug. 12th, 1956, and by one son, Alan; two brothers, Richard and Will Rees, and one sister, Mamie James. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Matthew (Vivian) Suddock, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Boyd (Edna) Lambert, Kansas City; one brother, Dave Rees, Rt. 4; one sister, Hettie Edwards, Woodland Park, Colo.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

BUGBEE SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Mrs. A. A. Bugbee, 516 South Union St., who died Wednesday in the Providence Hospital in Kansas City, were held Saturday afternoon in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They were conducted by the Rev. Stephen J. Williams, pastor of the First Congregational Church. The soloist was Trevor Lewis, the organist was Mrs. Robert Plummer and the pallbearers were Fred Eaton, Virgil Bugbee, Robert I. Anderson, Clarence Arndt, D. M. Taylor and M. L. Henrickson. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Out-of-town relatives who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Lambert and daughter, Pamela, Kansas City; Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Suddock, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Watson and children, Shelley and Shannon, Pittsburg; Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Edwards, Woodland Park, Colo.; Margaret Cole and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cole and family, Olpe, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Snyder, Omaha, Neb.
