Ruby Blanche Brown, 77, died December 14, 2013 at the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas. She was born February 19, 1936 in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Marion and Mary Amanda (Evans) Rector. A lifetime resident of Haviland, Blanche was a Certified Nurses' Aide and waitress. On May 4, 1955 Blanche married William "Bill" Carr Brown in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death August 20, 1997. She is survived by five sons Melvin, Keith, Wayne, Darry, Joe and five daughters Rhonda , Celia , Lynn Godfrey , Sandy Kruse, and Terri Butler, one sister Mary Lou Brown, twenty five Grandchildren and nine Great-grandchildren.
