Mrs. Brenda Randolph Beckett, 47, of Hurricane passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2006.

Brenda was born Nov. 12, 1958, in Nashville, Tenn., and was the daughter of the late A. Dewey and Harriett A. Smith Randolph.

She was a former employee of American-Electric Power and a 24-year resident of Hurricane.

Brenda was a loving and devoted mother to her surviving sons, Ryan Kyle Beckett and Tyler Douglas Beckett, both at home; and stepdaughters, Natasha Gibson of Boone, N.C., and Sabrina Beckett of Bonita Springs, Fla. She is also survived by her loving family: sister, Deborah L. Cowgill and husband, David, of Atwater, Ohio; brother, Randy Randolph and wife, Pat, of Sissonville; sister, Kathy A. Carpenter and husband, Arlen, of Garner, N.C.; aunt, Marguerite R. Goff of Ravenswood; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be noon Saturday, Oct. 7, at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel, 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, with Pastor Travis Bradley officiating. Entombment will be in Flora Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Sissonville.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Ryan and Tyler Beckett Fund, payable to Arlen H. Carpenter, c/o BB&T Teays Valley, 4141 State Route 34, Hurricane, WV 25526.
