SACO - Alberta Geneva Randall Bowley, 92, formerly of McKenney Road died late Thursday at the Evergreen Manor in Saco. She was born in Portland on May 12, 1908 the daughter of William and MaBelle Maschmeyer Randall. She graduated from South Portland High School. She drove an ambulance for the Red Cross during World War II, played violin for the Portland Symphony in its early years and worked in Scarborough in the telephone office. From early 1950's until the arly 1970's she and her husband raised chickens at their farm in Saco. She later did work for teh unemployment office in Biddeford. She was a member of teh Pythian Sisters in Scarborough and of the North Saco Congregational Church of Saco. While a member of teh church she donated the organ to teh congregation. Her husband, Philip W. Bowley, died in 1971 and a daughter, Winonah Ahlquist, died in 1965. Survivors include a son, Robert E. Bowley of Saco; a daughter, Barbara Wright, also of Saco; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
