Obituary-Julia Randall Brill
Julia Randall, daughter of Ziba and Elizabeth Randall, was born near Circleville, Ohio, October 23, 1867. She grew to young womanhood there. In 1885 the Randall family came to the neighbor hood of Soldier, Kansas. In 1886 the family moved to the Fairview community near Havensville, Kansas.
On November 28, 1893, Julia married William Henry Brill. After their marriage, they lived south of Havensville, Kansas until 1896 when they moved to Clay Center.
Mr. Brill passed away February 16, 1936, and Mrs. Brill continued to reside in Clay Center until 1939 when she moved to Onaga to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Rosa Nemnick. Mrs. Brill resided in Onaga until about four years ago when due to her failing health, she entered the Ring's Nursing Home at Holton, Kansas. At that time of her death she was being cared for in the home of Mrs. Albert Tessendorf of Wamego, Kansas.
She was a member of the Methodist Church at Clay Center.
Mrs. Brill passed away February 20, 1960 at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 28 days. Survivors include three brothers, Henry of Onaga, Kansas, George of Holton, Kansas and Mack of Salem, Oregon; and two sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Jurey of Clay Center and Mrs. Rosa Nemnick of Onaga.
Services were held at 10:00 a. m. on Wednesday, February 23 at the Tessendorf Funeral Chapel and at 2:00 p. m. at Clay Center. Services here were in charge of the Rev. Millard Marshall. Interment was at Clay Center.
