Passes Away at Home of Samuel W. Bell of Pleural Pneumonia.

Mrs. Hannah Dresbach, died Saturday night at 9 o'clock at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W. Bell, of Walnut Township, with whom she had made her home for the past two months. She was 78 years old.

Two weeks ago she was striken with pleural pneumonia and it was known for several days that it was impossible for her to recover.

Mrs. Dresbach was the widow of Samuel Dresbach, who died at the family home in Ross County, February 15, 1874. Mrs. Dresbach was born in Pennsylvania, January 16, 1833. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ranck, who moved to this county from Pennsylvania when she was a child and settled near Stringtown, Saltcreek Township. She married Samuel Dresbach in 1849, and moved to the farm of her husband in Colrain Township, Ross County, and later to Green Township, Ross County. Thirteen children were born to them three of whom died in infancy. One son, William Dresbach, died in 1895. The surviving children are; Josiah Dresbach, Chillicothe; Mrs. Frances Reichelderfer, Amanda; Louis D. Dresbach, Hutchinson, Kansas; Mrs. L. E. Leist, Circleville; John Dresbach, Hallsville; Nelson Dresbach, Kingston; Mrs. S. W. Bell, Walnut township; Mrs. Susan D. Wright and Grant Dresbach, Kingston.

Of her immediate family there are living one brother, Albin Ranck of Lakeview, Ohio, and one sister, Mrs. Salena Long of Kingston.

Mrs. Dresbach was a member of the United Brethren church of Hallsville. The funeral service was held from the Bell home Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Rev. M. R. White officiated. Burial was at Hallsville Cemetery.
