MENARD--Services for Mrs. Zella Rambo Groom sister of Russell Rambo of Brownwood, will be Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Mission Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
A former Brownwood resident, Mrs. Groom died Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. in Menard Hospital. She had lived in Menard 10 years and was a Presbyterian.
She was married to U.R. Groom, a longtime insurance and real estate business man in Brownwood. He died in August, 1951.
While in Brownwood Mrs. Groom was active in various women's clubs and other organizations.
Survivors include a foster son, Don Turner of Santa Anna, Calif.; two brothers, Russell Rambo of Brownwood and Lyndell Rambo of Menard; one sister, Mrs. Frank Munselle of Menard; a nephew and two nieces.
