She graduated from St. Mary's College in Maryland and worked as a secretary at Fairchild during World War II. After marriage she stayed at home to raise her family. She was an avid crossword worker and enjoyed music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. Rambo. She is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth Temple, Chattanooga, Tn., and Nancy Bachtell, Hagerstown; a grandchild, Christopher Bachtell; two great-grandchildren; and her first cousin, William Howard, from Baltimore, Maryland.
A memorial service and burial was held at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel.
