Mahlon C. Rambo died at 4:55 o'clock Sunday morning at his residence,
146 North 22nd street. The cause of his death was heart trouble
and he died after several weeks illness. Mr. Rambo was born Aug.
23, 1863, near Cisco. He was married to Miss Mollie A. Ayres, Oct. 1,
1890. He moved to Decatur in 1906. He was a charter member of the Seventh Street Christian church and was a member of Macon lodge No
8. He is survived by his wife, Mollie A. Rambo; one daughter, Mrs.
John Malcon of Decatur; three brothers, Fred Rambo of Hammond, Elmer Rambo and Lynn Rambo, both of Decatur; one sister, Mrs. J.C. Lyons of Decatur, and 12 grandchildren.
The body will be left in the home till time for the funeral service, which will be at 1 'oclock Tuesday afternoon in the Monson chapel. Burial will be in Union cemetery southeast of Oreana.
