When seventeen weeks ago there was received word that Mrs Donie Beverly had suffered a light stroke there was sadness. On Thursday, June 4, she suffered another, and on Thursday, June 11, she passed away about 11 a.m. Genuine grief filled all hearts at her home, where she had spent her entire married life, and throughout the community. "Mother Beverly" maintained a home in which true principles of Christianity were lived and practiced daily. Her home life was beautiful and hospitable. She joined White's Chapel Methodist Church early in her long life of 81 years. She was the mother of eleven children…. Her prime interest was the religious development of her children and community.
