Mrs. Maggie Ellen Ragsdale, wife of James Ragsdale, died at 6 o’clock Monday night at her home in Union Township, Hendricks County, one and one half mile east of Lizton.

She was the daughter of Samuel Hiland and wife and was born in Jackson Township and was aged nineteen years, four months and six days. Her marriage occurred January 8, 1904 in Harrison Township.

One sister, Mary Hiland, survives her.

She was a member of the Christian Church at New Brunswick, where the funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday Rev. Smith officiating. Burial at Old Union Cemetery.

Bride's Fall Proves Fatal

Danville, Ind., Nov. 24. - Mrs. James Ragsdale, 18 years old, is dead near Lizton. She was married only last summer. Her death was the result of a fall. While on a board walk, a plank broke, causing her to fall. A few hours later she grew worse and, despite all that medical care could do, she died.
