Herbert Rayfield, 81, died Thursday at Park Lawn Nursing Home,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. the Rev. N.W. Kock will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Rayfield was born Aug. 6, 1887, in Manitowoc County, son of
the late Charles and Charlotte Wilharms Rayfield and attended
schools in Manitowoc County. He was a mason and Gardener by trade
and was a member of the First German Lutheran church Men's Club.
Nieces and nephews survive. Four sisters and six brothers preceded
him in death.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and until noon Monday
at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and then until the time of services
at the church.
