Survivors include her children: Mary Colleen Colby-Conneaut; Thomas McDermott-MyrtleBeach NC; 10 grandchildren [all named]; 4 gr grandchildren & a bro Jack Quinn-DelRay FL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednes-day morning at StFrances Cabrini Church-Conneaut; with RevEdward Gretchko officia-ting. Interment will be in StJoseph Cem. Calling hours at Thompson Funeral Home-Conneaut where a CD of A service will be held this evening.

VIOLETTE A QUINN McDERMOTT--91:
formerly of Fifield Ave, Conneaut OH, died Sunday [4-30] at the Inn Conneaut Health Center. She was born in Conneaut 06 Mar 1904, a dau of the late Frank & Laura Patterson Quinn. She lived in Conneaut her entire life. She graduated from Conneaut High School in 1924 and had performed in many of the school plays. She played the piano for many silent films in Kinsman, Ohio. Prior to going into the nursing home, she lived with her daughter, Mary Colleen Colby, on Broad Street for 25 years. Mrs. McDermott had worked in the office of the Nickel Plate Railroad and Conneaut Creamery for several years. She retired as office manager of Allied Resins. She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed playing cards and caring for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Mac" McDermott; four sisters, Bernice Hyslop, Mary Grice and Dorothy and Charlotte Quinn; and five brothers, Willard, Richard, Andrew, Kenneth and Donald Quinn.
Besides her daughter, survivors include a son, Thomas McDermott of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a brother, Jack Quinn of Del Ray, Fla.; and eight grandsons, two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, Ohio, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Edward Gretchko will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. The Catholic Daughters of America will conduct a service at tonight at 7:30.
