Rosetta was born Feb. 27, 1939 in White County, a daughter of Alan Ray and Lorene Musgreve Putney. She married J.D. Hutchcraft on April 17, 1956 in Carmi. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2011.
She owned and operated crafts and ceramics shops, eventually starting J.J. Toning Works outside of Forrest. She also worked at Jamie’s Grocery Store in Forrest. Before moving to Carmi in 1997, she had also worked at various Wal-Mart stores.
Rosetta is survived by her daughter, Lorrie Hutchcraft; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and special nieces and caregivers, Jewel Johnson and Barb Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Jesse Dean Hutchcraft Jr.; one brother and one sister.
