Hamlett, Nora Pauline, 84, died Dec. 23, 2007 in Haverford, PA. She was born on Jan. 24, 1923 in Buffalo, KS to Anna and Warren Puckett. Pauline retired from Wichita High School North in 1988, after serving more than 20 years as treasurer. She was an elder emeritus of Riverside Christian Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Pauline exemplified a life of service through Riverside Christian Church, as an election Judge, an accompanist, a choral singer, and among her extended family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Glenn Hamlett, and by her parents, brothers Harold, Albert, Calvin, and Lee Puckett and sister Loretta Tremain Searle. Survivors include her daughter Marjorie Epps Kennedy (Edward), Wayne, PA, sons Robert (Barbara), Carmel, IN, and James (Linda), Fishers, IN, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation with friends and relatives will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mon., Dec. 31 at Hillside Mortuary West, 2929 W 13th. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wed., Jan 2, at Riverside Christian Church, 1001 Litchfield followed by interment at White Chapel Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Riverside Christian Church in Pauline's name.
