Isabel J. Armstrong, 59, wife of Richard K. Armstrong died in her home following a two year battle with ALS. She was born in Lexington and lived her lifetime in that area. She is survived by her son, Ronald V. Armstrong and two daughters Janet E. Ogilvie and Joyce A. Arnold, seven grandchildren and her mother, Mrs. Glen (Eula) Prosser, a brother, Dwight and sister, Dorthea Hill. She was deeply loved by her children and husband. She was quietly and peacefully taken into her eternal home by the LORD one day after their 39th wedding anniversary. Her body rests in the Lexington cemetery.
