Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in Center Point for Mrs George O Cooke. 37, who died Wednesday morning at her home after an extended illness. The Smith Funeral was in charge of the services which were held in the Mission Church, with Rev Paul Clanton officiating. Interment was in the Center Point Cemetery.
She was a native of Johnson County and was Lola Mae Prince, daughter of the late A.J. Prince and Mrs Prince of Houston. She had resided in Center Point for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, her mother, four sisters, Mrs Edna Adams, Houston and Mesdames Bettie Lee Holmes, Mattie Alexander and Betty Jean Garther of Everman and five brothers, A.J. Prince, Jr, J.B. Prince, Dallas, M.L. Prince, San Antonio, T.E. Prince, Houston and Glenn Prince of Buck Eye, Arizona.
