DEATH OF MRS. COLEMAN
Well Known Woman Passes Away After Long Illness
After an illness extending over a period of several months, Mrs. R.J. Coleman died Sunday night about ll o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eugene Kidd, in this city. Mrs. Coleman was 63 years old and was a native of Ellis county. She had resided in Waxahachie almost ever since it was a town. Her friends here were numbered by the score. She was a pious christian, a most estimable woman and was loved by every one who knew her. She was a member of the Methodist church and was a regular attendant at the services of this congregation until her health began failing. Mrs. Coleman had been married twice. She is survived by seven children, besides a large number of relatives, all of whom have the sincere sympathy of hosts of friends. The children are as follows:
Will Moore of Waxahachie; Matt Moore of Waurika OK; Mrs. Debardelaben of Lubbock; Mrs. Eugene Kidd of Waxahachie; Dick Coleman, Sam Coleman and Mrs. Brummett of Waurika OK.
Mrs. Coleman was a sister to Mrs. A.T. Willis of Waxahachie and Mr. J.E. Prince of Frederick OK.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. The interment was made at the city cemetery.
