Dollie Mae Armstrong, age 82, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Armstrong was born October 16, 1932 in Ellis County, Texas the daughter of James and Cora (Bates) Prince. She married Joe G. Armstrong in Denison. For thirty years she was a healthcare provider working in Paris, McKinney and Denison, Texas. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Truth Church. Dollie loved her family and spending time with them. Although her passing leaves a void in our lives she will live in our hearts forever. Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her beloved family, daughters, Neva Brassfield and husband, Kenneth of Denison, TX, Sharon Ferrell of Austin, TX, Debra Sonka and husband, Larry of Houston, TX and step daughter, Lana Taylor of Carrollton, TX; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, sisters, Pat Edwards of Whitney, TX and Marylou Murdock of Pinebluff, AR and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe G. Armstrong, son, Henry Kenneth Rowe Jr and brothers and sisters.
