MRS. E. H. PATTEN DIES WHILE VISITING DAUGHTER
While visiting her daughter, Mrs. O. O. Eisenhower, of 559 Charles street, Dorranceton, Mrs. Emily H. Patten, wife of William Patten, of Hazleton, died last evening of rheumatism and complications. She has been ailing for some time and went to Dorranceton several weeks ago thinking the change would benefit her, but her condition grew worse and she died last evening.
Mrs. Patten was born in this city in 1854, and was the daughter of Alexander and Louise M. Price. Her husband was for many years a foreman for the Lehigh Valley Coal Co. in this city and later went to Hazleton where he was employed by the same company.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, James Savage, by her first husband, and a step-daughter, Mrs. O. O. Eisenhower, of Dorranceton, also four brothers, Charles Price, of Beaumont St.; S. R. Price, of Hazleton, M. R. Price and William Carey, of this city.
